NEWB (aka Tusla) Report (Irish schools only) (read time 1 minute)
In VSware, schools have access to a variety of attendance reports that provide detailed information about students’ punctuality and attendance patterns.
To access these reports:
-
Go to Overview > Attendance.
-
On the left-hand side of the screen, you’ll find a full list of available reports.
From there, you can select the specific report you need to review attendance and punctuality data for your students.
TUSLA Report Section
The TUSLA report section allows schools to set a number of absent days and define the relevant date range for attendance information.
-
Any student who exceeds the number of absent days entered will appear in the report, along with the corresponding TUSLA code.
To view the school’s TUSLA codes:
-
Go to Settings.
-
Select Attendance.
-
Click on the pencil icon beside an attendance code to see its associated TUSLA code.
Exporting Reports:
-
To print a report, click Export to PDF. A new tab will open, from which you can print directly.
-
You can also export the report as a CSV file by clicking the Export to CSV button, which allows you to work with the data in spreadsheet format.
